About the hotel

This hotel ( formally Hotel Sitl Salamanca) is conveniently located for visiting the wonderful historic city of Salamanca, this modern 4-star hotel is situated barely 15 minutes from the tourist and commercial centre.

Declared a world heritage site by UNESCO, Salamanca offers plenty of opportunity for a full and satisfying stay. A nice walk or a short journey by bus separates you from the centre of the city with its ancient architecture, cultural monuments and important buildings. The hotel contains its own outdoor swimming pool and there are 2 golf courses within easy distance.

The building’s simple facade conceals ultramodern interiors which belie the historic heritage of the surroundings. Housing tastefully decorated, comfortable and contemporary accommodation with a homely atmosphere, there is a sense of serenity, despite the refined restaurant, stylish bar and meeting amenities. Take advantage of the hot and cold breakfast buffet, the perfect way to start your day in this beautiful city.

On the ground floor you will find the reception, our restaurant Tristan which is available on request, the cafe bar Isolda, convention rooms, banqueting rooms and the main hall.

The hotel also features its own parking: a garage with a capacity of approximately 50 vehicles and with direct access via a lift to all of the hotel's floors. There is an outdoor swimming pool available from June to September.

Only a few miles from the hotel there are 2 golf courses which our guests will be able to enjoy at preferential rates.

Our restaurant Tristán offers you lunches and dinners served a la carte plus a selection of menus (previous reservation required), as well as buffet breakfast hot and cold.

In the Bar Cafeteria Isolda there is a snack-bar service, selection of hot dishes and national and international drinks.

Directions

Hotel Map

From Madrid airport, follow directions for M-11. After 9 kilometres, follow signs for Paseo Castellana and the Carretera de Colmenar Viejo for 1.9 kilometres, take exit 10B signposted A Coruña, Avenida Ilustración.

Follow down the Avenida Ilustración/M-30 for 1.9 kilometres. Take the M-30 for 5.5 kilometres and take exit 23B signposted A Coruña, Parque Deportivo, A-6. Follow down the A-6 for 35 km and down the AP-6 for another 40 kilometres.

Take exit 81 signposted Villacastín, Avila and Segovia. Continue down the AP-51 for 3 kilometres, you will arrive at the tolls. Continue another 19 kilometres and take the N-110 for 7.5 kilometres followed by the N-501 passing Avila, until you get to Salamanca.

On arrival at Salamanca, turn right onto the Puente del Príncipe de Asturias (first bridge crossing the river), turn right direction Paseo de las Canalejas, leave the Plaza España on your right and continue surrounding the city on the ring road.

At the Puerta de Zamora, where there is a small petrol station, turn right into the Paseo del Doctor Torres Villaroel, keep going straight direction Zamora until you pass another petrol station, after the roundabout you will see the hotel on your right hand side.
